College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences Expected to Award Over 1300 Degrees During Spring Graduation Ceremonies

The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) will confer over 1300 degrees for undergrad and grad students with the University of North Texas.

On Friday, May 12 at 8 a.m. CLASS will celebrate the following students from the Anthropology, Communication Studies, Dance and Theatre, Economics, Geography and the Environment, International Studies, Media Arts, Psychology, Sociology, and Technical Communication departments.

At Noon, Interim Executive Dean Jim Meernik will recognize graduates from the department of English, History, Integrative Studies, Philosophy and Religion, Political Science, Social Science, Spanish, World Languages, Literatures and Cultures, and Frank W. and Sue Mayborn School of Journalism.

The Department of Communication Studies will host its Masters' Hooding and Senior Recognition Ceremony on Thursday, May 11 from 6-8 p.m. and will be held at the Eagle Student Services Center located in University Union. Meanwhile, the Mayborn School of Journalism will host an Open House on Friday, May 12 from 9-10:30 a.m. at Sycamore Hall, 2nd floor. Both events are for graduates, their families, guests, faculty, and staff.
