This year, 11 UNT students entered the competition, and 8 emerged with awards, reflecting both the depth and strength of the program.

Freddie Smith - Varsity Champion and 5th Overall Speaker
Jackson Jones - Varsity Quarterfinalist
Aiden McQueary - Varsity Octafinalist
Sean Newman - Varsity Octafinalist
Jawohn Osiri - Novice Semifinalist
Nadia Escatell - Novice Quarterfinalist
Elisabeth Kiu - 9th Speaker, Novice Division
Chase Inman - 10th Speaker, Novice Division

The University of North Texas Debate Team will carry this momentum into upcoming national circuit tournaments, continuing its proud tradition of excellence in argumentation, research, and public advocacy.
