Dr. Hlavacik wrote the Op-ed about a recent speech by Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos for The Conversation. In it, Hlavacik argues that DeVos has "distinguished herself from her predecessors" by "positioning herself on the outside" as a critic of the department she runs.
