James Nichols, a 2013 graduate of the Communication Studies department, recently had an article published in the Journal of Academic Freedom. The article is titled "The Canadian Model: A Potential Solution to Institutional Review Board Overreach." James was also published as an undergraduate at UNT, when a revision of his honors thesis "Negotiating in the 21st Century: Bridging the Gap between Technology and Hostage Negotiation" was published in Journal of Applied Security Research. James is currently finishing up his last year as a student at the University of Texas law school. Congrats James on all of your accomplishments and keep up the great work!
