This is the third year in a row UNT students have qualified and UNT has participated in the tournament 40 times in the last 79 years. We are excited to attend the 80th National Debate Tournament in a few weeks.

 

This qualification reflects the extraordinary dedication and intellectual rigor of our students, who spend hundreds of hours researching complex policy issues, refining arguments, and competing against the best programs in the nation. Their success represents the strength of UNT’s long-standing commitment to debate, critical thinking, and civic engagement.
