My name is Kerry Dickenson, and I have been teaching English and philosophy in higher education for 12 years. My background is in rhetoric/composition studies, continental philosophy, and women's studies. I am working on a paper now that stresses the importance of teaching feminist friendly texts in composition and literature classes. I will be presenting it at the PAMLA conference in L.A. in November. I am really excited to be a part-time faculty member at UNT, and I hope to one day be a full-time faculty member. I love the students and the faculty so much that I graduated with my BA here in 2007 but I cannot seem to leave!
