StaffMayborn School of JournalismNina is a UNT alum from Arlington, Texas, currently serving as the Administrative Coordinator. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Mayborn, with a concentration in digital and print journalism. Her interest in journalism began in high school, where she wrote for and later served as editor-in-chief for her student newspaper. This experience shaped her educational and professional goals, which ultimately led her to Mayborn. Nina earned her bachelor’s degree and developed strong skills in reporting, writing, and editing thanks to her successful educational journey with Mayborn. After graduating, she gained experience working in higher education, which ultimately brought her back to Mayborn in a professional position.  In her current role, she oversees various aspects of student support and outreach, such as working with student organizations, coordinating events and student programs, and recruiting. Her work enables her to stay connected to the journalism world while working closely with students to ensure that our future journalists are prepared with the necessary skills to achieve success.
