Bio
Travis Sutton's background in film production began with the LDS Motion Picture Studios in Provo, Utah. Sutton later worked on crew for various independent feature films, short films, commercials, and documentaries. He directed the feature-length documentary Extraordinary Measures, which premiered at the San Francisco Documentary Festival in 2007.  Sutton's primary research interests include gender and sexuality, affect and emotion, and Mormon cinema. His publications include "'Forever Family' Values: Twilight and the Modern Mormon Vampire" with Harry Benshoff in Horror after 9/11, and "Avenging the Body: Disability in the Horror Film" in A Companion to the Horror Film. Travis Sutton has earned a B.A. in Media Arts at Brigham Young University and an M.A. in Film Critical/Cultural Studies at the University of North Texas. Sutton is in the process of completing his Ph.D. at Texas A&amp;M University.  Prior to returning to the University of North Texas to become part of the faculty, Sutton taught courses in film, literature, and composition at Southern Methodist University, Texas A&amp;M University, and Blinn College.
