Background & Research Interests
Dr. Levin-Aspenson is an assistant professor in the Clinical Psychology area of the Department of Psychology at the University of North Texas. Her work uses advanced quantitative methods to improve measurement of psychopathology and integrate strong assessment into research and clinical practice, motivated by the pressing need to (a) identify empirically based, transdiagnostic targets for research and treatment and (b) develop psychometrically sound and clinically useful scales with which to measure them. Her research projects typically focus on psychological assessment, quantitative dimensional models of psychopathology (e.g., HiTOP), and their methodological integration.
