"Leaving the Community: A Qualitative Study of Hijra Individuals in Bangladesh."
 
Research Interests

Prapti Anandita is interested in the sociology of gender and migration. She has successfully defended her dissertation research proposal and is set to start her fieldwork, which is qualitative research about South Asian asylum seekers in the United States.
