Spotlight on Spring Graduate Jyra Tipps.

Jyra graduates on April 30, 2021 with a BA in TECM. She has this to say about her time here at UNT:

My time here at UNT has been mind-blowing, I can't believe it's coming to an end already! I was/still involved in a few organizations that I've enjoyed, including: Women of G.O.L.D, UNT HER Campus, Co-President of Definition Dance Team, UNT BIGS, Eagle Technical Communication (ETC), Exquisite Eta Alpha Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc., and have made the Dean's List. After graduating I will be attending Texas State University, San Marcos, TX to pursue my Masters in Technical Communications.

We also celebrate our scholarship winners. Ms. Ha My Van won the Big Design Scholarship supported by Mr. Brian Sullivan and the Tech Comm Advisory Board. She won for her project, ""Examining the Applications of Specific Color Combinations on User Interface Components to Determine How These Affect Accessibility and Usability Among Specially Abled Individuals".

We are also pleased to congratulate Ms. Evelyn Saravia, who won the General Scholarship in Technical Communication; Jillian Garcia and Ha My Van who each won the Chair's Scholarship in Technical Communication and Jenna Nichols won the Neil & Rebecca Cobb Scholarship.
