The Psychology Clinic at the University of North Texas was originally founded in 1972 with the purpose of providing professional and evidence-based services and referrals to clients who request them. The UNT Psychology clinic also provides professional and competent training to graduate students in the applied programs of the Department of Psychology.

ATTENTION: NEW SERVICE! EXPEDITED ASSESSMENTS!

This summer, the UNT Psychology Clinic will offer a limited number of Expedited Psychological Evaluations. These evaluations will be conducted in a condensed timeframe while maintaining the same level of thoroughness and quality as our standard assessment services.

Clients participating in this service will attend multiple extended assessment sessions across several days within a single week. Completed psychological assessment reports will be delivered within 1–2 weeks following the evaluation—significantly faster than our typical turnaround time. Please note that this service is available on a limited basis during the Summer 2026 term.

Due to the expedited nature of this service, the flat fee is $1,500 and is not eligible for our sliding fee scale. The clinic operates on a private-pay basis (no insurance), though we do accept FSA and HSA payments. Additionally, we are able to break this fee up into smaller payments, though the client must be aware that they cannot receive their completed report until the fee has been paid in full.
