A Campus Exploration Challenge

Geography is everywhere - even here on UNT’s campus!
Where’s Scrappy? is a month-long campus exploration challenge hosted by the Department of Geography & the Environment. This challenge is your chance to explore campus, meet the people who keep UNT running, and discover places you might not otherwise visit.

Passport Pickup Locations

  • CLASS Advising Office - GAB 220
  • Eagle Engagement Center - UNION 377 (Formerly UNION 335)
  • Department of Anthropology - SYMR 119
  • Department of Dance & Theatre - RTFP 242
  • UNT Alumni Association - Alumni Center

How It Works

  • Visit each participating department or office across campus.
  • Find the Explorer Scrappy cutout displayed somewhere in the front office.
  • Once you spot him, ask the front desk for a stamp.
  • Collect one stamp from every location to complete the challenge.

Rewards

  • Complete all 25 locations to receive an "I Found Scrappy!" sticker.
  • The first 100 completed passports will receive a free ice cream voucher.
  • All completed passports will be entered into a raffle for exclusive explorer prize bundles.
  • Winners will be drawn on May 1.

Turn In & Pick Up

Bring your completed passport to the Geography Department (ENV 210) during regular business hours by 5:00 PM on April 30.

  • Open to UNT students, staff, and faculty.
  • Please do not move Scrappy or disrupt office operations.
  • Stamps must be obtained in person at each location.
  • Lost or damaged passports cannot be re-stamped retroactively.
  • Visit during regular business hours.
  • One passport per person. One stamp per location.
