Dr. Robin Coffelt specializes in twentieth-century American literature, especially
fiction by women. Other current areas of interest include animal studies, especially
the animal as narrator, and music in/music as literature. She teaches a variety of
courses, including survey courses in world and American literatures and the short
story, and first-year composition as well as advanced writing classes. She has helped
develop a blended (online/onsite) course for World Literature II (the eighteenth century
to the present), which debuted in Spring 2010.
