Reuben Castro

Reuben serves as Administrative Coordinator for the Department of English, where he supports faculty, staff, and students in the day-to-day operations. He works closely with the Department Chair and English Main Office team to ensure that academic programs, faculty onboarding, scholarships, and departmental initiatives run smoothly.

 

Reuben is often a first point of contact for faculty questions and helps coordinate everything from administrative processes to events and office operations. He also serves as Building Representative for the Auditorium Building, assisting with facilities and safety coordination.

 

A two-time UNT award recipient, including the 2025 Integrity Champion Award and the 2025 CLASS Outstanding Staff Award, Reuben is committed to ethical leadership, collaboration, and creating systems that help others do their best work.

 

He earned his B.A. in European History from UNT, with a minor in Classical Studies and a Certificate in Medieval & Renaissance Studies and will graduate with his MBA in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management in Spring 2026.
