Student Workspace - GAB 301

The Student Workspace is open to all Communication Studies majors, as well as all students in Communication Studies classes. The space features a smart TV, a Cricut for creating elaborate cutouts, and many craft supplies.  Students can collaborate on group projects and work on poster presentations with our wide variety of materials available for use. A student assistant is available to assist with Cricut projects. Equipment is available for personal use when otherwise unoccupied if personal materials are used.

• Monday: 9 AM - 5 PM
• Tuesday: 9 AM - 5 PM
• Wednesday: 9 AM - 5 PM
• Thursday: 9 AM - 5 PM
• Friday: 9 AM - 5 PM

*The Student Workspace will be open from 8 AM - 5 PM the week of March 30 to assist with COMM 1010 Advocacy in Action projects. 

Research Space - GAB 327

Faculty, graduate students, and research assistants utilize this department research office for various activities related to research projects, including the collection and analysis of data. This office houses a large, comfortable work space that can be configured in a variety of ways for data collection.

The Research Space is open for reservation during UNT's office hours from Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. To reserve the space, please email COMMStudies@unt.edu with the date and time you are requesting.
