Faculty Awards Committee

The selection of the recipients of the 2019 President's Council Teaching and Service Awards and of the J. H. Shelton Excellence in Teaching Award is complete. The Faculty Awards Committee reviewed a pool of 12 candidates from 7 departments in five colleges. The faculty members to be recognized this year are:

J. H. Shelton Excellence in Teaching Award

President's Council Teaching Awards

• Dr. Shelley Riggs, Department of Psychology, College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences

• Dr. Elizabeth Oldmixon., Department of Political Science, College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences

President's Council Service Award

• Dr. Tracy Everbach, Department of Journalism, Mayborn School of Journalism
