Graduates from our department consistently secure employment in a wide range of academic, applied research, and industry settings. Our doctorates most commonly secure employment as tenure track faculty members or data scientists in research institutes and/or marketing firms. Our master's degree holders more commonly work in applied research or community-based settings. Additional details on alumni placements and employment is found on our alumni page.
We offer three graduate tracks and several certificates. Students in our pass-through PhD program obtain both their master's and PhD degrees in our department. Students who have already obtained a master's degree prior to joining UNT may apply and enroll in our stand-alone PhD program. Lastly, we offer a terminal MS program for students interested in obtaining a master's degree only. Details on these tracks can be found on their respective webpage.
