We're excited to meet you this summer at Orientation! To help us advise you correctly for the Fall semester, be sure to bring:
- Dual Credit Classes: List of all classes taken with grades (unofficial transcript on phone works great).
- OnRamps Classes taken through UT-Austin are considered Dual Credit.
- You'll need an official transcript sent directly from the college you took classes through to UNT to transfer your credit. You can do this through your old student portal or by contacting their Registrar's office.
- AP Exams: Scores for exams with a 3 or higher (We don't need your grade from the actual AP
class).
- If you are still waiting on scores from Senior year exams, bring the name of each one you took.
- You'll need your scores sent directly from the College Board website to UNT.
- IB Exams: Scores for exams with a 5 or higher.
- IB Credit is transferred directly from the International Baccalaureate website to UNT.
Note: Your high school transcript will not transfer your Dual Credit, AP Credit, or IB Credit. While not required to be completed before Orientation, getting your credit transferred soon ensures it is applied to your degree audit and that you are advised accurately.
