The University of North Texas College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS)
honored it Dean's list and President's list for the Spring 2022 semester at a reception
held at UNT Union.
A combined total of 2,464 students landed on the lists, while 1,180 were named to
the Dean's list and 1,284 students were named to the President's list. Students on
the Dean's list must maintain a 3.5 semester and a 4.0 semester GPA in a minimum of
12 hours of graded coursework at UNT.
"I am proud of these outstanding students," said James Meernik, CLASS Interim Executive Dean. "Making the Dean's and President's
List is of academic excellence students, which shows they are persistence to be successful."
Each academic year, CLASS honors its students with a reception, and a t-shirt. The
program is held in September during the fall semester, and in February during the
spring term. Honorees are encouraged to invite there family and friends to attend
the free program.
About the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences is the largest college in the University of North Texas system. CLASS prepare its
student to be the next generation of innovators, scholars, entrepreneurs and civic
leaders. The college houses 15 departments, 7 programs, and is home to Mayborn School
of Journalism. It offers a number of scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate
students.
