Jaramillo is Associate Professor of Film and Television and Director of the Film and Television Studies Program at Boston University. She is the Author of Ugly War, Pretty Package: How CNN and Fox News Made the Invasion of Iraq "High Concept" (Indiana 2009) and The Television Code: Regulating the Screen to Safeguard the Industry (Texas, forthcoming). She is a two-time Ford Fellow and board member of the Texas Archive of the Moving Image.

• Christopher Loss, "Academic Expertise and Its Challengers in the Post-1945 United States"

Loss is Chancellor Faculty Fellow and Associate Professor of Public Policy and Higher Education and Associate Professor of History, Vanderbilt University. He is the author of Between Citizens and the State: The Politics of American Higher Education in the Twentieth Century (Princeton 2012) and co-editor of the Convergence of K12 and Higher Education: Policies and Programs in a Changing Era (Harvard Education 2016). He has had fellowships at the Miller Center of Public Affairs, the Brookings Institution, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
