Thirteen cadets from the University of North Texas and Texas Woman's University Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) were commissioned at the spring ceremony. The honor was held at TWU's Hubbard Hall.

"Cadets in UNT's program must meet rigorous physical fitness demands, demonstrate outstanding leadership skills, and support the community through various service-related activities", said CPT Kurt Spasic, Assistant Professor of Military Science.

2LT Keon Brown, UNT, earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a minor in Mathematics and Military Science. He received a branch assignment into the Army Corps of Engineers.

2LT Brittany Bryant, UNT, earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She received a branch assignment into the Military Intelligence Corps.

2LT Travis Buskey, TWU, earned a Master's in Business Administration-Accounting. He received a branch assignment into the Finance Corps.

2LT Jacqueline Gonzalez-Najera, UNT, earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Military Science. She received a branch assignment into the Signal Corps.

2LT Nikkholai Miller, UNT, earned a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary. He received a branch assignment into the Military Intelligence Corps.

2LT J. Scott Mischke, UNT, earned a Master's in Business Administration degree. He has received a branch assignment into the Infantry.

2LT Jared Musser, UNT, earned a Bachelor of Science in Emergency and Disaster Management with a minor in Military Science. He has received a branch assignment with a branch detail assignment with the Armor.

2LT Michael Schultz, UNT, earned a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Administration and Planning with a minor in Military Science. He has received a branch assignment with a branch detail assignment with Armor.

2LT Patrick Schunk, UNT, earned a Master of Science in Kinesiology. He received a branch assignment into the Medical Services Corps.

2LT Alexis Steele, UNT, earned an Applied Arts and Sciences degree in Homeland Security. received a branch assignment into the Quartermaster Corps.

2LT Hayden Tremain, UNT, earned a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Administration and Planning with a minor in History and Military Science. He received a branch assignment into the Chemical Corps.

2LT Anthony Valdez, TWU, earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He received a branch assignment into the Nurse Corps.

2LT Roderick Yin, UNT, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Emergency and Disaster Management with a minor in Military Science. He received a branch assignment into the Field Artillery.
