the Gender Gap in Work Hours. Gender, Work & Organization 28: 101-112."
"This is the best possible use of social science research-- where it can inform policy
that improves people's lives", said Scarborough. I'm enormously grateful that the
office of the president has taken notice of our work and am extremely excited about
the legislative changes it may help prompt."

found that mothers with young children have reduced their work hours four to five
times more than fathers.
