Something I wish I knew as a Freshman: I wish I would have known more about the spaces where I could go to find other people in my major. Being able to find a support system is crucial in college, so I wish I had known more about where to go to find that.

Why did you become an ambassador? I want to help more students be involved with the COMM Studies major.

What is your favorite memory from your time at UNT? My favorite memory is gaining lifelong friends from my time in the COMM Library, and hanging out with them to talk and study in there.

How do you plan to use your degree? I plan to go into the corporate world either doing HR or Corporate Communications. I would also love to continue my education by eventually getting a Masters Degree.

Something I wish I knew as a Freshman: Time really flies. Don't wait around for opportunities, and don't let them slip away.

Why did you become an ambassador? When I first visited UNT, I wasn't sure what I wanted to pursue. However, once I joined my department, I discovered motivation, a sense of belonging, and numerous opportunities. I'm eager to share that experience with incoming students who may be in a similar position.

What is your favorite memory from your time at UNT? COMM Day 2024 was one of the best experiences I've had so far. Being actively involved on that day allowed me to learn and connect with my department on a much deeper level.

How do you plan to use your degree? My goal is to climb the corporate ladder within a global company, and eventually, I hope to explore my creative side through a career in journalism.
