REMINDER: All first-time-in-college students, as well as students who are on academic alert or probation, are required to have an appointment with an academic advisor prior to registration.
Despite the current pandemic, we assure you that CLASS advising is still here to serve you -- we are open and operating! We are offering appointments via Zoom (an online appointment platform accessible by computer or phone), phone, or in person (socially-distanced). Appointments can be made at appointments.unt.edu or by calling (940) 565-2051. When scheduling a Zoom or phone appointment online, please indicate in the appointment comments whether you would prefer a Zoom appointment or appointment by phone. In-person appointments are available daily on a limited basis due to social distancing requirements.
- If your appointment is through Zoom, your advisor will send a link to your UNT email to access the meeting prior to the scheduled appointment time.
- If your appointment is over the phone, your advisor will call you at the phone number you provide when scheduling your appointment
- If your appointment is in-person, please come to our advising office in GAB 220 for your scheduled appointment.
Please see the information above (or here) for registration dates and times as well as our Zoom drop-in availability.
Reminder: If you are interested in Integrative Studies (IGST), but have not yet talked with an IGST counselor, please begin by emailing IGST-SOSC@unt.edu to be added to the "Getting Started in Integrative Studies" canvas course. You must complete this (not-for-credit) course before you can declare this major.
For updated information on university plans during this time, please make sure you are signed up for Eagle Alerts: https://www.unt.edu/eaglealert. Please email your advisor or CLASSAdvising@unt.edu if you have any questions or concerns. Be patient with response time, we are experiencing an increased amount of emails. As always, please email us from your UNT email address only and include as much detail as possible as well as your UNT Student ID number. We will get back with you as soon as possible.
