A minor in history is open to and welcomed by students from all majors and disciplinary backgrounds. It offers a unique way to complement any degree while deepening students’ understanding of the past and its connection to the present. Through the study of history, students sharpen their critical thinking skills, develop strong research and analytical abilities, and become more adept at communicating ideas through writing and oral presentations.
Students may minor in history by completing 18 semester hours.
