Degree(s): B. A. in Communication Studies and a minor in International Studies with a Concentration in Humanitarian and Developmental Affairs

Favorite Course(s): Gender and Communication, Introduction to International Studies

Something I wish I knew as a Freshman: Its okay to take things slow. You don't have to sign up for a million different things and spread your time super thin. Everybody moves at a different pace, and you have plenty of time!

Why did you become an ambassador? I wanted to share my experience in the Communications department and aid anyone within or interested in COMM.

What is your favorite memory from your time at UNT? I love fall on campus! I like walking to class, listening to music, drinking coffee, and being grateful for the opportunity to get my degree here!

How do you plan to use your degree? I plan to work for an international organization and travel!

Degree(s): B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in French and B.A in English Creative Writing

Favorite Course(s): Rhetoric of Worldmaking, Africana Theory, Teaching for Diverse Populations.

Something I wish I knew as a Freshman: Ask for help when you need it! It's okay to not know something and seek advice--it takes a village to get through college. Rely on your community.

Why did you become an ambassador? I want to offer support and guidance to undergrads in my department, especially to Black and first-generation students.

What is your favorite memory from your time at UNT? I work in the Communication Studies library with my friends. It's a second home to me, I love every minute I spend there!

How do you plan to use your degree? I will get my M.A. or M.S. in Digital Media/ Human Computer Interaction and use my theoretical background in the humanities to advocate for ethical AI/ML systems.
