Major: Philosophy and History with Legal Studies certification
Tips for success within your major and college: "Don't worry about impressing your classmates and professors. Oftentimes, it is the simplest response to a reading that will spur a discussion."
What I wish I knew as a freshmen: "It's okay to change your major, and you are good enough to major in philosophy."
A campus office or service I recommend: "Housing. Joining the Residence Hall Association as a freshman connects you with the UNT community."
Career goals: "I want to be an intellectual property lawyer. I hope to advocate for robots one day."
Hobbies: "Online crate digging, swimming, and writing lists."
Tips for success within your major and college: "Don't be afraid to speak your mind! Although class discussions can appear to be intimidating, your participation is valued and your peers want to hear your thoughts and ideas. The most fulfilling classes that you will take are those in which you engage!"
What I wish I knew as a freshmen: "You are allowed to take time to focus on yourself. Schoolwork can be very demanding at times, but it is crucial to your success and your sanity that you dedicate time to growing yourself as a human being and not just a student- the two are not exclusive!."
A campus office or service I recommend: "I highly recommend the Counseling and Testing services here at UNT. As many know, college is not always a walk in the park. There are struggles that come with pursuing a higher education and beyond that this service can help you work through. More than anything, what the Counseling program offers is the security that you are heard and you are not alone."
Career goals: "In the future, I would like to become a philosophy professor or start my own humanitarian aid program."
Hobbies: "I enjoy hiking, photography, and going to concerts."
